Although the temperature is low in winter, the demand for vegetables is still large. At this time, there are more vegetables in greenhouses. How to manage the vegetables in the greenhouse in winter? Today, I will share with you the key points of vegetable management in winter greenhouses. Let's have a look! Magnesium sulfate monohydrate color particles

1. Ensure the safety and stability of the greenhouse

The weather is abnormal in winter, and there are a lot of windy, cool and snowy weather, so we need to check the safety of the shed in advance to see if there are loose places, and take reinforcement measures in time to prevent the shed from being damaged by strong winds or collapsed by snow. The damaged parts of the greenhouse film should also be repaired or replaced in time to prevent snow and cold air from blowing into the greenhouse and affecting the growth of vegetables.

2. Timely cover with straw according to weather

Clothes should be added when people are cold. Similarly, grass cover should be added to the greenhouses. Of course, it's not that it's too late to start adding after it's cold. Watch the weather forecast and cover it before cooling down. It is also possible to cover a layer of greenhouse film on the insulation quilt and straw cover to avoid being wet by rain. For the old shed wall with poor thermal insulation, you can put some straw mulch on the back wall to withstand the wind and cold.

3. Timely clear the snow in the greenhouse

In rainy and snowy days, don't wait until the snow stops to clean up, or wait for it to digest itself. Observe the situation and clean it every other time to avoid the snow collapsing the shed support. After the snow stops, the drainage ditch shall be cleaned. If the temperature drops seriously, and the temperature in the greenhouse is less than 15 ℃ in the daytime and less than 5 ℃ at night, then freezing damage is easy to occur. Temporary warming measures must be taken to supplement heat and raise temperature.

4. Light irrigation with small amount of water

In winter, not only the temperature is low, but also the ground temperature is lower, so there are some problems in winter watering. If a large amount of water is applied, it will not only lead to the decrease of soil temperature, but also lead to poor soil permeability, thus affecting the absorption of roots. Of course, you can't do without watering. It's no problem to master the method. If conditions permit, drip irrigation can be conducted under the film, which will not greatly affect the ground temperature while replenishing water. Straw can also be laid between rows and on aisles to increase ground temperature and reduce humidity in the shed, which is conducive to vegetable growth.

5. Increase ventilation and lighting

The light in winter is not enough. If the weather is cloudy or rainy or snowy, do not cover the vegetables with straw curtains or thermal insulation quilts all the time during the day. In this way, the light of the vegetables in the greenhouse is worse, and they are prone to yellowing. Open the curtains every day to see through the light. At the same time, hang reflective film to give more light as much as possible to make them grow normally. When the weather is fine, clean the film of the greenhouse every other time to ensure that the light can shine in.

6. Reasonable fertilization

When cooling down, do not use too much high nitrogen and potassium fertilizers, especially potassium nitrate, etc., but appropriately supplement some microbial fertilizer, and spray potassium dihydrogen phosphate on the leaves to increase the disease resistance of vegetables, and improve the cold and freezing resistance to ensure a smooth winter.
